There are tours and tours but if you are looking for a high standard, coupled with personal service, then Eagle Tours is in the top league. The Company has been run for 20 years by Brigid Goodson and Jo Stevenson who have built up a reputation for their aviation knowledge and their ability to make it possible to visit venues not available to the general public including USAAF bases and vintage airplane restoration.
Eagle Tours specialises in Aviation and Historical Itineraries in the UK and is well known for the professionalism, consideration shown towards visitors to this country and the excellent value offered on the tours.
Our considerable knowledge and contacts give us the ability to find the details of what now survives of the USAAF bases and visit private museums and locations not open to the general public.
Even though our tours are tailored to meet a majority interest, we pride ourselves in trying to cater for individual requirements. Eagle Tours welcomes groups from Associations and Clubs, also smaller parties of friends and families.
We enjoy arranging visits and accompanying aviation veterans who wish to return to their war time base and revisit old haunts. Also family members who would like to find out more about where their loved ones were stationed during WWII.
Each trip is planned to take in a notable event in the UK aviation calendar, as well as visiting locations that will appeal to veterans, enthusiasts and others with an interest in aviation history.
Eagle Tours also allows for the opt-out factor. Wives and others who do not always wish to be in the presence of wings can be offered days exploring London’s museums, galleries and shops.
