Weddings and Honeymoons in Angus, Scotland.

The county of Angus is situated in the Scottish Midlands with Aberdeenshire to the north, Perthshire to the west and to the south is Fife across the Firth of Tay.

Angus is an area of contrasts with the Highland Glens to the north of the county to the undulating lowlands of the south where Angus meets Dundee. Central Angus is a productive area for both arable and pastoral farming.

Angus has a rich heritage with castles, and heritage sites awaiting your visit. Glamis Castle, near Forfar, stands in an extensive landscaped park – two acres enclosed within high yew hedges, and a Nature Trail amongst magnificent Douglas Firs and hardwood trees.

If you travel to Kirriemuir you can visit J.M. Barries's birthplace - the creator of Peter Pan who was born there in 1860. In Kirrimuir you can also visit Cortachy Estate at Kirrimuir. There is also Barry Water Mill at Carmoustie, Edzell Castle or The House of Dun in Montrose.
