Welcome to the Thornton Hunt Inn web site. We are a traditional Freehouse set in an attractive Grade II listed building which dates back to around the Eighteenth Century. The Inn is situated in the quaint village of Thornton Curtis in the glorious North Lincolnshire countryside.

We have extended our grade II listed building to encompass a number of en-suite single, double and twin/family rooms (family room sleeps max. of three persons) with three of our rooms located on the ground floor. We have attained a “VisitEngland” grading of “Four Star – Inn”. We are able to take online room bookings or for further details please contact us. For today's late room availability offers!

We have extended our grade II listed building to encompass a number of en-suite single, double and twin/family bedrooms (family room sleeps max. of three persons) with three of our rooms located on the ground floor.

All our rooms go through a regular redecoration process to maintain standards.

Restaurant
Our extensive bar menu has won us several Food Standard Awards over the years and is mainly homemade encompassing local produce (Select Lincolnshire) where possible. We have a varied selection of starters, main courses, omelettes, baguettes and wonderful homemade desserts in our Lunch Menu, Dinner Menu, Lite Bite Menu, Childrens Menu and Sunday Roast Menus .

The Inn is situated in the quaint village of Thornton Curtis on the A1077, approx. 18 miles from Scunthorpe, 5 miles from Barton-upon-Humber (and the Humber Bridge), 1.5 miles from Barrow-upon-Humber, 4 miles south of New Holland and 19 miles from Grimsby, and lies in the heart of the glorious North Lincolnshire countryside (national grid reference is TA087178). The parish covers over 4,900 acres and includes the hamlet of Burnham, 2 miles west of the village.
