A 16th Century Coaching Inn offering first class accommodation all recently refurbished . Situated close to the fishing villages of both Port Isaac, of Doc Martin fame and Port Gaverne, there is an abundance of activities to cater for all needs.
Run by husband and wife team, Jonney and Felicity Hawkey and their team of loyal staff, this is a very friendly and welcoming Inn. Popular with locals and tourists alike, and with good reason.
The comfort of our guests is paramount and no effort is spared to ensure that your stay is a memorable one. Each of the seven ensuite rooms has its own appeal, and guests can relax in the lovely Olde Worlde bars with slate flagged floors. Open fires , a logburner and beamed ceilings are very welcoming. The Bed and Breakfast tariff also includes a hearty Cornish breakfast that will set you up for the day.
All our bedrooms are ensuite and have been refurbished this year. New furniture, beds and power showers. One bath room still has a bath for those that prefer. All the rooms are on the first floor and are double glazed. We have 4 double rooms and 3 twin/family rooms.

We pride ourselves in using local produce wherever possible, putting together a tempting menu for all tastes. Being that we are so close to Port Isaac and generally the Sea, one of the Inns specialities is fresh seafood. We serve a selection of lite bites and meals at lunchtime and a more comprehensive menu in the evening. Our resident chef, Tim Appleby prides himself in producing tempting tasty meals to suit all. Our chef Tim Appleby started his career at the Inn some years ago. The last 10 years he has hit the gastro pub scene in London.lived and worked in Australia and more recently at a bistro in St Ives. Traditional Engish,Modern European with Middle Eastern twist. 2nd in the Kitchen Ratana Davis from Thailand, Thai Night once a month. Sunday Roast(all year) is a popular event. A choice of 2 or 3 meats that are locally sourced with a large selection of seasonal vegetables.
We have a good wine list covering wines from Europe and the New World. Real Ales are very popular here especially the local Sharps Brewery from Rock. Pendoggett Special Bitter, brewed especially for us and Doom Bar are among the most popular..

These directions assume you are coming from Exeter which is accessible by motorway (M5), train and plane. From Exeter take the A30 westbound crossing from Devon into Cornwall. Take the A395 Wadebridge, North Cornwall exit on the left about 2 miles from Launceston and follow this road through Piper's Pool, Hallworthy & Davidstow. At the T Junction just after Davidstow, turn left onto the A39 (T) and look out for the turning (on your right this time) onto the B3314. Bear right onto B3314 following it through Slaughterbridge and across the staggered T-Junction, through Delabole and approximately 2 miles further on into Pendoggett. The Cornish Arms is on the
