Enjoying a village centre location Cambridge House offers the ideal accommodation for your Lake District holiday. Only a minute from the numerous shops, restaurants and pubs of Windermere; a mere 5 minute walk from the railway and coach station; and only a pleasant 15 minute stroll to the beautiful Lake Windermere. Please note that Cambridge House is guest House, whilst we have very high standards, we are not a hotel. We offer home from home comfort in service and room sizes. All rooms are en-suite, have TV, DVD or VCR, CD player, radiators controlled in the room by you, Tea and Coffee facilities and complimentary biscuits, and toiletries. Please note that guests staying two nights or more receive free unlimited use of Parklands Country Club, the leisure facilities indicated as available on our site are at Parklands, windsurfing etc is at the lake. Although Cambridge House is in a town centre location 5 minutes either direction bring you to heart stopping beauty, and breathtaking views. Sorry no Children under 5 years & no pets. All credit/debit cards used to confirm bookings will be pre-authorised. We provide parking permits for on road parking we do not have a private car park, parking is on road and is very safe.
