A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at the Crowndale, which is situated on a quiet tree-lined road, only a short walk from the sea-front with its safe sandy beach and harbour. All of our double and family rooms are en-suite and have complimentary beverage trays, hairdryers, colour TVs and radio alarm clocks. For the comfort and safety of our guests, the hotel is completely non-smoking. Start your day with a choice of cereals, fruit juices, yoghurt, grapefruit, and fresh fruit followed by a full English breakfast, or perhaps something a little lighter such as scrambled eggs. We have a comfortable guest lounge, where you can watch TV or a video, do a jigsaw, play cards or board games, or just curl up with a good book. In addition, there is a car park at the rear of the hotel, as well as a sun terrace. We welcome children and babies and offer a substantial discount for 2 - 12 year olds (under 2 are free) and have a travel cot and highchair available at no extra cost, plus other items such as a baby bath and changing mat. Close by is the Riviera Leisure and Conference Centre, Torre Abbey and Gardens, theatre, shops, bowling greens, tennis courts, pitch and putt, crazy golf and regular boat trips from the harbour. There are also many restaurants, pubs and clubs close by. Please note that we do not take single sex groups or hen/stag parties. Other local attractions include the picturesque village of Cockington, Babbacombe Model Village, Paignton Zoo, Kents Cavern, Quaywest Water Park and steam railways to name but a few. Then, of course, only a few miles away is the splendour of Dartmoor with its pretty villages and magnificent scenery - a walker's paradise.
