Seaton Delaval Hall online: information and bookings

It was Admiral Delaval who commissioned Sir John Vanbrugh in 1718, to build the hall, and what a magnificent home he produced, adjectives fail to describe the past splendour of this truly remarkable home.

The gardens are Lady Hastings domain. She has added her own ideas into those already set out in the grounds of the hall. These have blending very well and make a walk around the grounds a restful and pleasurable experience. There is much more to see in the gardens, but I will update this page as soon as possible.
