An elegant privately owned Georgian manor house, Peterstone Court enjoys an amazing location overlooking the River Usk, with views across the valley to South Wales’s highest peak Pen-y-Fan. This is no clichéd country house the atmosphere is relaxed, and informal, oak floors, marble fireplaces, antique furniture and leather armchairs set off with fresh flowers and modern art.
The bedrooms are large and luxurious, 8 in the main house and 4 in the outside converted stable block, all with crisp bed linen, comfy mattresses, flat screen TV, DVD players and above all space.
The food lies at the heart of the house it is fresh, local and seasonal. One half of the family who are longstanding local farmers and being located only 7 miles away, provide a unique and sustainable arrangement in rearing the meat used in the house kitchens.
The basement leisure suite contains a candle-lit meditation room, four-seater sauna, Jacuzzi and gym, with a whole range of natural and organic spa treatments on offer.
Outside, there's a heated pool (seasonal), and wooden decks with glorious views of the Brecon Beacons, and you're only a few yards from the world famous hiking, and biking trails.
