Dating back to 1860 Springfield House was originally the home of the Corless family, built with loving care by William Corless.
Sara and Richard Coverley took over Springfield in 2004, after a long search for their perfect Country House Hotel. Since then, much thoughtful care and attention has been lavished by them in the refurbishment of this beautiful building. Elegant in appearance, this truly fine Georgian House is surrounded by manicured lawns and set within magnificent walled gardens which make Springfield so special; a truly idyllic setting. Spend a relaxing mid-week or weekend break, being pampered from arrival to departure.
Springfield’s location makes it an ideal base for a variety of destinations in the North West. The beauty of the Lake District, the historical County Town of Lancaster, and the entertaining Fylde coast are all within striking distance. Blackpool Airport and the M6 are close by.

All the dishes from the Springfield Kitchen are home produced, from the warm homemade bread, Springfield Black Pudding, fresh Pasta, and a mouth watering selection of Homemade Ice Creams and Sorbets, to name but a few.
