Built in 1805 Crosby Lodge is in the heart of the countryside overlooking Parkland and the River Eden beyond. The lodge maintains an aura of peace and solitude richly furnished with fine period pieces. Redolent of the fine qualities of the Georgian era, the Lodge offers you a chance to relax and be pampered.
The Lodge was purchased and restored by the Sedgwick family in 1970 since when they have built up a strong reputation for excellence, and a vast range of experience has been gained over the years in organising weddings from small informal occasions to grand marquees.
Just 5 minutes from the M6 and not far from the centre of Carlisle, the hotel is extremely accessible for travellers who prefer a luxurious, personal touch to their nights stay. If you are staying awhile there is plenty to do and see. Tour the spectacular Lake District, the abbeys in the Scottish Borders and explore the world heritage site of Hadrian's Wall, returning in the evening to the comfort and superb food and drink of Crosby Lodge.

We are proud of our reputation for fine food. Our menu selection offers great choice at both lunch and dinner - no less our famous sweet trolley of delicious home-made desserts. Food here is splendidly complimented by the extensive wine list provided by Phillipa Sedgwick Wines, who have an outstanding wine warehouse on the courtyard.

WEDDINGS
The Crosby Lodge Restaurant can be booked privately for Wedding Receptions between thirty and sixty five covers, for either a formal wedding breakfast or Knife and Fork buffet. Finger Buffets up to a total of 100 covers can also be catered for.
Flower arrangements, to complement your colour schemes, silver cake stands and all the various necessities to make your day special, are available to you with the compliments of Crosby Lodge
