The Blacksmith’s Arms offers all the hospitality and comforts of a traditional country inn, with tasty meals served in the bar lounges, or dinner in the well-appointed restaurant. There are eight bedrooms, all en-suite. The inn is convenient for the Borders, Hadrian’s Wall and the Lake District. There is a good golf course, walking and other country pursuits nearby. Personally managed by the proprietors, Anne and Don Jackson.

The Old Forge Restaurant offers good home cooking with fresh local produce. Choose from the Daily Blackboard Specials, extensive A-La-Carte Menu and Wine list, Sunday Lunch Specials and a wide choice of Vegetarian dishes.

The Blacksmith's Arms offers all the hospitality and comforts of a traditional Country Inn. The restaurant, bar lounges and are open every lunchtime and evening for Bar Snacks and Meals, and traditional Real cask Ales. Enjoy tasty meals served in our bar lounges or linger over dinner in our well-appointed restaurant.
