The Stained Glass Museum is a hidden treasure within Ely Cathedral. An independent museum, it is uniquely dedicated to the art of stained glass. A display of over 100 original stained glass panels dating from the early 13th century to the present. Also more modern work by William Morris, John Piper and Brian Clarke.

The Museum has a well-stocked, reasonably priced book and gift shop specialising in unique hand-made and locally-sourced glass items.

A special pre-Christmas selling exhibition draws visitors from far and wide seeking attractive Christmas presents.

The Museum is open daily and throughout the year there are regular exhibitions, workshops and events. It also works with schools to provide an entertaining educational introduction to the art and display of stained glass.
