Firle Place online: information and bookings
House
Firle Place is the home of the Gage family and has been for over 500 years. It is set at the foot of the South Downs within its own parkland. This unique House contains a magnificent collection of old Master Paintings, Fine English and European Furniture and an impressive collection of Sevres porcelain mainly collected by the 3rd Earl Cowper from Panshanger.
Restaurant
Enjoy the licensed restaurant and tea terrace with views over the gardens for luncheon and cream teas.
Events
The Tudor Great Hall lends itself to private dinners with drinks in the Billiard Room or on the Terrace and can incorporate a private tour of the House. The Paddock area is ideal for erecting a marquee and the Park can be used for larger events using the House as a backdrop.
