The George & Dragon Hotel is located in the quaint market town of Kirkbymoorside "…..the gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors." Ideally situated halfway between Helmsley and Pickering on the A170 Thirsk to Scarborough road the hotel can be found by turning into the town from the main road and it is located at the edge of the market place.
The newly refurbished bedrooms which are all to be found in the converted corn mill and the old rectory are quiet and spacious, comprising of standard, superior, four poster bed and junior suites. All bedrooms have colour TV. direct dial telephone and tea, coffee making facilities.
The George and Dragon is certainly a "Haven of Hospitality" where great wines, real ales and hand prepared food using the finest local produce are served all day seven days a week. Our comprehensive daytime menu offers something for everyone and in the evening we have a Table d’ Hote Menu at £17 p.p. an A la Carte Menu and blackboard specials too.
