A visit to Exeter would be incomplete without seeing the magnificent 850-year-old medieval cathedral. One of the finest examples of decorated gothic work in England today, it is famous for its west front, minstrel's gallery and the longest unbroken stretch of gothic vaulting in Europe. Look out for the amazing astronomical clock, the Exeter rondels and the tallest bishop's throne in England. Facilities include a 1,000-year-old library, café and shop.

Further Information
The Cathedral receives no regular funding from the Church of England or the UK Government to support its work. Asking tourists and sightseers to pay a modest admission charge is an important part of our annual income, helping us meet our responsibility to maintain and support one of our country's special and much-loved buildings.

In case of alteration, please check prices, opening times and any specific important information before booking or visiting
