Muckrach Lodge Hotel & Restaurant stands in its own ten acres of landscaped grounds in the heart of the Spey Valley. This is a relaxing, elegant, comfortable and friendly place where the needs of the guest are paramount and the ambience is one of visiting friends rather than staying in an hotel.

Roaring log fires in the lounge bar, a beautiful south facing terrace for warm days, a full sized croquet pitch and a sophisticated piano lounge are all there for the guests to enjoy. A drying room for clothes and a gunroom for secure gun storage are also available

Set in the Cairngorms National Park, Muckrach is the perfect place from which to explore this stunningly beautiful part of Scotland. There is a huge range of activities available just a short distance from the hotel, catering for every age, every taste and all abilities.

THE RESTAURANT at Muckrach is one of the best in the Spey Valley and is a destination restaurant for locals and visitors alike. Head chef Addy Daggert and his team prepares delicious dishes from fresh local ingredients. Signature dishes include wild pigeon ravioli in a game bird broth, Madeira creamed celeriac soup with asparagus froth and crisped Parma ham, oven roast medallion of venison, mushroom tart tatin and game jus and vanilla tea and citrus fruit terrine with yogurt sorbet. We make our own stock, bake our own bread and produce our own chutneys and breakfast preserves.
