Manderston dates from 1905 and is one of the few truly Edwardian mansions in the country and the only one open to the public. Built with no expense spared, it displays elaborate planning for Edwardian luxury, comfort and convenience, both upstairs and downstairs, which made it the ideal location for Channel 4's “The Edwardian Country House”. Open Thursday and Sunday pm from mid-May to end Sept. Coach parties welcome all through the year by appointment.
