Arley Hall and Gardens, near Great Budworth, Cheshire, is one of the secrets of Cheshire: a quintessential English garden of great charm and beauty which ranks amongst the finest in the country. Features include the double herbaceous border laid out in 1846, the pleached lime avenue, the giant cylinders of Quercus Ilex, topiary and collections of shrub roses, rhododendrons and azaleas. The delightful family Hall, open on Tuesdays and Sundays only, reveals fine panelling and plasterwork, a magnificent library and historic family furniture, pictures and porcelain.

rley Hall and its surrounding Estate grounds are a popular film location having played host to many period and contemporary dramas. From the exclusive location for the series, Cluedo and Soames? house in the Forsythe Saga to being a backdrop for The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and hosting two Coronation Street weddings, Arley proved to be a top class venue for film and television companies.
