Built in the early 16 Century for Lord Sandys, Henry VIII's Lord Chamberlian, and subsequently adapted by the Cute family. The Vyne with its imposing portico overlooking the lake and charming garden is a fascinating fusion of the subtle textures and colours of a Tudor mansion and mannered classicism of the Georgian period.
