Trengwainton lies about 2 miles to the west of Penzance and has one ofthe best collections of tender plants on the British mainland. Thanksto the Gulf Stream and its sheltered position, plants grow here all year
round. There are tender exotics at Trengwainton that won't survive out
of doors anywhere else on mainland Britain.

The garden is long and thin, flanking a drive that winds uphill beside a
tranquil stream. Unusual plants from four continents fill a range of
walled gardens and from the top are breathtaking views over Mounts Bay
and the Lizard Peninsula.
