Château’s elegant award winning restaurant combines the Gallic influence of romantic France with the warmth of traditional England.
In the oak panelled setting, fine culinary delights are created fresh to order and there are dishes to tempt both the more traditional palette as well as the more adventurous diner.
In the summer months the conservatory and terrace are popular dining areas with both guests and locals alike.
In addition to our daily set menu we also offer an extensive A' la carte selection. Changing seasonally, our menu is highly regarded throughout the island.
Weddings and Conferences
WEDDINGS
We are pleased to advise that Château la Chaire has been approved as a suitable venue to hold civil wedding ceremonies for up to 60 persons within our drawing room, or up to 30 persons within our conservatory. This option we include complimentary with all packages along with preferential room rates for your guests should they require accommodation.
For your wedding breakfast our conservatory restaurant holds a maximum of 30 guests, parties above this can be divided between our oak panelled restaurant and conservatory. Wedding parties up to 70 can be catered for if utilising our private dining room also. All wedding breakfasts would be required to be served between 12 noon and 2pm.
Children under 5 years old will eat with our compliments from a child’s menu selection as discussed and we will also be happy to discuss price options for those children at 6 and above. Over 14’s would be charged as full menu without a wine option.
The hotel is situated a short walk from the sea at Rozel Bay and set in 8 acres of terraced gardens and woodland. It is the perfect place to capture those romantic moments for your photo album. Coupled with the warmth and friendliness only to be expected in the best of country house hotels, we consider our venue ideal for such a romantic occasion.

CONFERENCES
he private room at Chateau la Chaire is flexible and versatile in arrangement. With a distinct atmosphere the unique oak panelled room provides a venue for small meetings or private dining. Our cuisine is of the highest standard and we also cater for less formal hospitality in our bar or on the terrace.
The day-delegate rate for conferences and meetings is £48.00 per person and includes:
