Highgate Cottage Bed and Breakfast is located just outside Wells, Somerset. We welcome you to our family home, set in 2 acres of Somerset countryside, on the banks of the Lower River Axe.
We have just completed a 12 month renovation and restoration of the property in 2013. The older part of the house dates back over 200 years and was used as a cider press barn and a cattle shed, the cows being led over a bridge into the end gable which still sits in the river.
Whether you are staying for one night, a weekend or longer, at Highgate Cottage Bed and Breakfast we offer a convenient, luxurious and friendly stay. Our breakfast is a great way to start the day and dietary requirements can be catered for if requested when booking. We aim to make your stay with us a relaxing and memorable experience.
All our rooms have been fully refurbished in 2013, to provide modern facilities whilst retaining the cosy cottage feel. Brand new bath/shower suites have been created, to ensure your stay with us is comfortable and luxurious. New integrated TV/DVD players are provided for your relaxation. We have a selection of DVDs that you are welcome to use while you are staying with us.
