Ripley Castle online: information and bookings

Ripley Castle has been home to the Ingilby family for twenty-six generations, and reflects each generation with its rich history. The original tower contains memorabilia from the battle of Marston Moor after which Oliver Cromwell stayed and this combines with the elegance of the Georgian era with fine chandeliers, family portraits and furniture collected over the Centuries. Visitors will enjoy the guided tours which bring history to life with amusing anecdotes of the Ingilby family.

The Castle overlooks the deer park and lakes designed by Capability Brown, and the magnificent gardens are a kaleidoscope of colour through every season with walled kitchen gardens and hot houses. Ripley is an original Estate village and visitors will enjoy the individual gift shops, tea rooms and a fine delicatessen in the Courtyard.

CONFERENCES AND CORPORATE EVENTS IN RIPLEY, YORKSHIRE
We are very easy to find and easy to get to from just about everywhere: we are fifteen minutes off the A1 and 45 minutes from the M1 and M62. Leeds Bradford Airport, which has regular flights to London and Europe, is less than 40 minutes away. Half-hourly GNER train services come to York and Leeds from London Kings Cross: the journey to York takes 1 ¾ hours, and it's a 45 minute drive from York to Ripley.

Ripley is a fantastic place in which to hold a high profile corporate event. The setting is stunning, the service is friendly and efficient, and the catering is exceptional.

Ripley also makes an excellent setting for low-profile events: those moments when you just want to get the team together for sales and marketing meetings, teambuilding or training sessions, board meetings or discussions away from the workplace. Ripley offers privacy and discretion in the relaxed surroundings of an ancient and beautiful deer park, seventeen acres of lake and magnificent walled gardens and pleasure grounds.
