The Yorkshire home of Sir Reginald and Lady Sheffield. The House is a fine example of early Georgian architecture overlooking beautiful parkland. Frequent winner of Yorkshire in Bloom the gardens attract visitors from home and abroad. Tearoom serving delicious home-baked fayre. Open Easter - September. Private parties (15+) welcome all year by appointment.
GARDENS
Our award winning gardens won the Silver Gilt Award in Yorkshire in Bloom 2005 and can be viewed from April to September each year, you may also have refreshments in the award winning tea room after your walk.
The award winning gardens attract visitors from both home and abroad, and have been featured in many prestigious publications. In fact Sutton Park is a frequent winner in the "Yorkshire In Bloom" Competition in the category "Yorkshire Tourist Board Award". The gardens featuring herbaceous rose borders are full of rare and interesting plants laid out with great care over the past thirty five years. In the grounds are a Georgian Icehouse and woodland walks.

The house is available for hire for Corporate Entertaining, Wedding Receptions and Filming, as well as being open to the public for parts of the year.

Sutton Park is an ideal film location, and is currently registered with the Yorkshire Screen Commission, the house, grounds and woodland were used by Heartbeat in October 2005.
