Weddings and Conferences
Weddings
Guests begin to fill the fifteenth century church and those staying at the Castle have breakfasted superbly and are traipsing across the formal gardens to join the congregation by the family porch. A horse and carriage in full livery await the bride's descent in the interior courtyard. If it is early spring, delicate aconites and snowdrops veil the lawns beside the church, later giving way to a carpet of triumphant daffodils acquiescing to the full bloom of summer and autumn roses.

Castle Ashby is a magical place to be married. It is at once joyful, romantic and serene. The air one breathes is of true Fairytale.

A wedding is a highly personal occasion, often the culmination of many years' subconscious collecting of ideas and dreams. It is a privilege and an honour to be involved in the organizing of so special a day and the staff at Castle Ashby can be as proactive or as unobtrusive as you choose. Castle Ashby, naturally provides a breathtaking backdrop, however if you should wish for a little help in making your wedding day unforgettably beautiful, our dedicated team of organisers is only too delighted to be of assistance. They are friendly, experienced and remarkably flexible in accommodating new ideas, rapidly becoming as excited and devoted to detail as the bride.

CONFERENCES
For generations Castle Ashby has played host to Royal Parties, parliamentary conferences, secret meetings concerning the founding of regiments and the restitution of the monarchy, and to social and academic leaders of the times. It has bred prime ministers, knights and admirals, ambassadors and businessmen. It is hardly surprising that in its present unchanging splendour, Castle Ashby remains the ideal backdrop for the highest calibre business occasions. This indeed is the purpose for which it was built.

Magnificently positioned in the heart of a typical English Park; views sweeping over formal gardens and stone fountains down to ornamental lakes and climbing again to woodland, pasture and a skyline of church spires, Castle Ashby offers ultimate privacy, serenity and sophisticated grandeur. Its staff are discreet and professional and its rooms elegant, splendid and comfortable.

Whether you are here for a straightforward business meeting with a working buffet lunch, a conference punctuated by light refreshments in the run of drawing rooms, champagne and a string quartet on the terraces or cocktails and croquet, or a pull-out-all-the-stops incentive weekend of banquets, dancing, fireworks and outdoor pursuits, Castle Ashby's elegant reception rooms and beautifully landscaped gardens and parkland are full of scope for the most memorable and effective event. Castle Ashby's dedicated team, used to working with both private clients and event agencies, is willing to help conceptualise and realise an entire event, or to merely liaise with your organisers to provide the perfect setting for your occasion.
