The Crown and Thistle lies at the centre of the market town of Abingdon. It is a traditional 17th century coaching inn surrounding a cobbled courtyard. The hotel is a listed building with recently refurbished bedrooms, bar and restaurant.

The Restaurant has recently been refurbished and relaunched to offer a brand new gourmet menu. Skillets restaurant is stylish but informal and includes a comfortable residents' bar. It is ideal for larger private events such as weddings and parties of up to 80 people. The Jubilee room caters for private parties of up to twelve.
