You can enjoy a pleasant interlude every day between 2.30 and 5.30 p.m. in the delightful surroundings of the Shakespeares newly refurbished lounge. A choice of freshly-brewed teas, scones with jam and cream, delicious sandwiches and tempting pastries leavens the long march from lunch to dinner. The hotel is full of character with its oak beams, creaky floor boards and open fires, all bedrooms are named after the plays of William Shakespeare and their characters. The David Garrick Restaurant has a traditional menu and two Rosettes.
