Widbrook Grange, home of resident owners Jane and Peter Wragg is an elegant 250 year old Georgian country house hotel peacefully located in 11 acres of grounds amidst rolling countryside. It is only 2 minutes from Bradford on Avon, 5 minutes from Trowbridge and 20 minutes from the historic city of Bath and Lord Bath's magnificent Longleat stately home and safari park. Walks across farmland from the hotel lead to the Kennet and Avon canal with its picturesque narrow boats, past the 14th century Tithe Barn and on to the centre of mediaeval Bradford-on-Avon.
The hotel has an AA rosette for culinary excellence, and award winning Chef Phil Carroll and his young team prepare quintessential British Food from a Country House bygone era using fresh produce from the hotel’s own garden and local farms complimented with bread and pastries baked daily on the premises.
For its attentive yet unobtrusive hospitality Widbrook it is a past winner of the RAC Little Gem Award. It has an atmosphere of warmth and informality with cosy lounges and a log fire burning on cold winter nights and peaceful gardens in which to relax on those long balmy summer evenings.

For those of a more athletic nature, we have a superb eleven metre indoor heated swimming pool, always kept at a welcoming temperature. This is complimented by a small gym with a selection of exercise equipment to suite all ages and levels of fitness.
If walking or jogging is your favourite exercise, there is a countryside footpath across part of our land that meets a bridle way and leads onto the Kennet and Avon canal towpath back to the hotel. This provides a not too challenging jogging circuit or a very pleasant round walk.
We have tee booking arrangements with the local Kingsdown and Cumberwell Golf Clubs and can organise boat hire on the canal, horseback riding and cycle hire.

Our award winning restaurant is named after an ancient tree in the hotel's gardens. Awarded the AA rosette for excellence it offers a wonderfully comfortable and relaxed setting in which to enjoy authentic and imaginative British regional cuisine both old and new, using fresh ingredients and unusual recipes developed from information gathered from around the British Isles. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner throughout the week and the mixture of food prepared suits most tastes and dietary needs. For larger parties, small banquets and private dinners our chefs are only too happy to create dishes to meet specific requirements.

CONFERENCES IN BRADFORD-ON-AVON
Widbrook Grange offers both residential and day conferences and meeting facilities and we are small enough to be able to offer a great deal of flexibility in satisfying our corporate customer needs. The purpose built and self contained Manvers Conference Suite houses a magnificent eighteen feet long oak boardroom table and carver chairs. It is in a quiet location and suitable for meetings with up to twenty-five people. It leads into a Victorian Conservatory used for refreshments, meals and syndicate sessions. This suite is also used for private dinners.
Our Ross Room is suitable for meetings of up to twelve people in a boardroom style layout and fifty people in a theatre style layout. It has an adjoining Lounge for use as a syndicate room or for small conferences with two to six people.
WiFi wireless broadband is now available in the conference suites and several of the bedrooms.
