Adam and Helen Hardy welcome you to their comfortable, family-run hotel in Snowdonia, full of historic character, in the village of Dolwyddelan near Betws-y-Coed in North Wales.
Once an 18th Century coaching inn, and originally part of the Earl of Ancaster's Welsh Estate, our hotel offers a unique place to relax at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. We are a short walk from the famous Dolwyddelan Castle, one of the few castles built by a Welsh man, namely Prince Llewelyn. Also, situated in our grounds is Elen's Well, which features in Welsh folklore and which is reputed to provide special mountain water with healing properties!
All rooms are en-suite and we have four poster bedrooms for a little more luxury. We have double, rooms, a twin room and two family/group rooms some of which have stunning views over the Lledr Valley and river or our lovely garden. Dine in our intimate restaurant and enjoy a drink by the woodburning stove in our cosy historic bar. The hotel and restaurant are non-smoking throughout.
Our hotel in Snowdonia is the perfect location to eat well, sleep well, and take a little of Wales back home.

A mouth-watering, delicious, home-cooked eating experience in an informal and friendly atmosphere in an historic building with views. Childrens menu available. Families very welcome.
The Siabod Restaurant is named after the mountain ‘Moel Siabod’ which is 872m or 2861 feet high and rises from the village. The main restaurant and the Garden Room enjoy beautiful views over the Lledr Valley.
Wherever possible, all our produce is locally supplied using the highest quality suppliers in the Conwy Valley. These include O.E. Metcalfe, a multi award-winning butchers; Llandudno Smokery who supply our fresh fish and shellfish from local waters; Tipyn Bach Chocolate Company who produce hand-made, fair trade chocolate and so on.

The village of Dolwyddelan is the ideal starting place to experience all the sights and sounds of North Wales.
The hotel is located in the centre of the village. Dolwyddelan stands at a natural and historical crossroads, at the foot of Moel Siabod – 2861 feet (872m), straddling the trout and salmon-rich Afon Lledr, a river, which wends its way through meadows and turbulent gorges northwards to join the Afon Conwy at Llyn yr Afanc.
