Harewood (home of the Earl of Harewood) is renowned for its stunning architecture and exquisite Adam interiors, containing a rich collection of Chippendale furniture, fine porcelain and outstanding art collections. In 2004 for the first time ever the Servants’ Hall, Housekeeper’s Room, and corridors of ‘belowstairs’ Harewood, displaying over 1,000 objects with fascinating tales to tell, will be open to the public. The inspiring Grounds, enfold a restored parterre Terrace, oriental Rock Garden, Walled Garden, lakeside and woodland walks, a popular Bird Garden and Adventure Playground. Throughout the season Harewood hosts an exciting variety of special events.
