One of the last great country houses to be built in the traditional way and containing beautiful furniture, ironwork, china and needlework specially made for the house. The large garden complements the house and contains many areas of great beauty and character including the magnificent herbaceous borders, topiary, roses, rockery, kitchen garden. The house is also open for guided tours for group bookings for 20 or more people at other times by prior appointment. Groups of 10 or more people may also book to see the garden at other times and a guided tour of the garden may also be booked. Photography is not permitted in the house.
