The Business was established in 2001. A small private Hotel and Restaurant run by Roger and Emma Stevens. Lasswade Hotel is nestled in the heart of Wales between, the Cambrian and Epynt Hills (also used for Motor Rallying), located in a semi rural position in the smallest town of Britain. Yet, only a 30 minute drive from Brecon.
We were the first committed pro Organic Hotel in Wales and we have established many awards for being Eco-friendly and a Green Hotel.
Lasswade is a handsome spacious elegant and comfortably furnished Edwardian Country House built in 1904. Set in an unrivalled position commanding beautiful views of the mid Wales countryside. This privately owned family run hotel has a fine reputation for offering warm hospitality and high quality fare throughout the year.
For all who like any form of country pursuits including hiking, cycling, pony trekking, fishing and bird watching, the area is famous for a variety of rare birds including the Red Kite. Lakes, mountains, rivers and waterfalls abound so there is plenty to do any time of the year.

This fine Restaurant has a warm welcome where you are treated as house guests rather than paying customers. Roger devotes his time in the Kitchen whilst Emma tends to the dinner guests.
Our award-winning Restaurant is renowned for its use of fresh, local and mostly Organic produce. With has an impressive Wine list, supplied by Tanners Wines of Shrewsbury. At the Lasswade, you will find dining a real slow food experience with attentive service and quality fresh food. The dining is informal and relaxed with a smart/casual dress code.
