The Hook and Hatchet Inn is situated high up on the North Downs in the hamlet of Hucking, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our food. We have taken time to source local produce to ensure that we provide you with a truly fantastic meal.  

We have a wide ranged menu including a variety of fresh fish, vegetarian specials and the best Sunday Lunch in Kent!

The Hook and Hatchet restaurant is very popular with locals and ramblers alike.
Evening Menu

Full Restaurant Service 6 - 9.30pm. Special Menu for Monday & Tuesday is available 2 Courses & a glass of house Wine £10.50 served from 6-9pm

Sunday Lunch
Full Menu including Sunday Roasts served between 12 & 6pm

Sorry - there is no food service on Sunday evenings

Leisure facilities
Ramblers & Walkers
The Hook & Hatchet sits within the 600 acre Hucking Estate managed by the Woodland Trust, with miles of lovely walks starting form the pub.  Free maps are available in the lobby.  We appreciate that we have the only tables & toilets on the estate and we are happy for ramblers & walkers to use our facilities.  If you have dirty boots, please clean them off before coming into the pub.  You are welcome to eat your own lunch but only on the very top tables on the grassed area, not on the patio or gravelled area.  Please clear up and take away your rubbish.

Horses & Riders
We welcome Horses & Riders to use the hitching rail whilst you enjoy a relaxing drink.  You are welcome to bring your own horsebox and park at the far end of the car park fir the day and ride out from here.  Please ring ahead if you wish to leave your box, and please clear up after your horses.
