Mill Dene Garden online: information and bookings
Mill Dene Garden has become the passion of Wendy Dare's life. Knowing absolutely nothing about horticulture, early in her married life Wendy and her husband Barry discovered this beautiful half-derelict Cotswold water mill and the story began.
The garden grew as they learned more and as more land was added giving views over the lovely hills of the Cotswolds: the virgin field of pasture facing north was bought and tamed; and had its Cotswold 'brash' turned into a shady woodland area: the little valley facing south had its sides terraced into the 'cricket lawn': the cold, fast running stream had bogs added to extend the plant palette.

Please note that parts of the garden are steep, but there is 50% wheelchair access. Also it is dangerous for toddlers. Groups. We recommend a minimum of 1? hours to visit the Garden, however, most people stay much longer. (The Mill is not open to the public)
