Exeter's Historic Quayside online: information and bookings

Exeter's Historic Quayside is a great day out. The Quay House Visitor Centre is a located in a former warehouse built in 1680, here you can see a free 15 minute film about Exeter's history. Two summer Red Coat Tours about maritime Exeter begin outside. Nearby, the imposing Custom House from 1680-81 is the city's oldest brick building. Explore the beautiful Quayside with its restored 19th century warehouses, browse among fascinating antique and craft centres, enjoy refreshments at a cosmopolitan cafe or have a stroll along the river.
