Best Western Hotel de Havelet, Guernsey

Restaurant
Guernsey has often been described as the Channel Island paradise for Gourmets. Hotel de Havelet is home to two of the most popular St. Peter Port Guernsey restaurants: The Wellington Boot Restaurant and The Havelet Grill both located in the hotel's converted coach house.

The name "Wellington Boot" is due to local legend which tells of a liaison between Henrietta Le Marchant and the Duke of Wellington, and the Duke arranging for part of the house to be rebuilt before Henrietta is hurriedly married to a Captain de Courncey.

The Wellington Boot Restaurant - Situated on the first floor, this fine Guernsey restaurant has splendid views over the Channel Islands. Hotel guests on half board can select from a superb four course dinner menu.

An extensive a la carte menu featuring Guernsey fish and seafood is also available.

The Havelet Grill Restaurant - offers more relaxed dining and is also open most lunch times. With charcoal grills and fresh fish featuring strongly on its menu. The Havelet Grill is popular with Guernsey residents and visitors alike.

Leisure facilities
Hotel guests can relax around the attractive heated indoor swimming pool which is open daily from 7.00am until 9.00pm. The indoor pool has a steam room as well as sauna and Jacuzzi.

The hotel health suite with its sauna and jacuzzi, and amidst its almost tropical array of plants, even non swimmers can while away a relaxing few hours.

In the summer months, the french doors by the pool open out onto a sheltered patio allowing hotel residents to sunbathe before they enjoy a dip.

Best Western Hotel de Havelet operates a courtesy bus between the months of April and October which runs to Best Western Moores Hotel in the heart of St. Peter Port, and the town centre.
