'Most people's idea of an idyllic Devon Inn' (Devon Today magazine)

400 years old, open fires, fresh flowers, great welcome. Wide-ranging choice of Devonshire dishes in lounge bar. 2 Red Rosettes standard restaurant with popular reputation. Cottage style bedrooms overlooking the gardens and terraces. Exclusive rights to fishing on nearby unspoilt stretch of River Dart.

The Inn has ten bedrooms which are delightfully decorated in a comfortable style and yet offer all the facilities that today's discerning traveller expects.

All of the rooms are either double or twin, all have a private bathroom, individually controlled heating, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and a colour television.

One of the rooms features a locally crafted four-poster bed and has French Windows, opening out over the garden for that special romantic holiday.

All rooms are Double or Twin and all have private bathrooms en-suite with traditional baths or power showers, central-heating, colour TV, direct dial telephone, and coffee & tea making facilities.

Prices per Person unless specified
Rooms from £80

Guests dining at the Inn may choose from our elegant restaurant, resplendent in crisp white table linen, silver cutlery and attentive service, offering a two or three course set dinner menu which changes daily and incorporates many seasonal dishes. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes.

Alternatively, you may dine in the relaxing and leisurely atmosphere of our bars or even, on warm summer days, outside in our attractive patio  garden. Here you will find an extensive menu ranging from light snacks to full main meals, including our ever-popular "Specials Board".   Vegetarian dishes are always available.

Whichever menu you choose the food receives careful attention from our professional chefs who use fresh local produce. We are renowned for the quality of our meat dishes and the local fish that is landed at Brixham. Our sausages, bacon, poultry, as well as several cheeses, are all produced on nearby farms. And, of course, do not forget the scrumptious clotted cream for which Devon is famous.
