Ugbrooke Park online: information and bookings

Ugbrooke is set in a tranquil Devon valley  landscaped by Capability Brown. It has a history covering 900 years, featuring in the Domesday book of 1086, and exhibiting a fascinating variety of alterations made over the centuries.

Robert Adam and Capability Brown were commissioned to remodel the house, grounds and garden in the mid 18th century. Outstanding Adam interior designs and unique external features remain, while Lady Clifford's extensive interior design skills are apparent in many of the rooms today.

The House contains many fine paintings, furniture, beautiful needlework and a rare family military uniform collection. But above all, Ugbrooke remains the comfortable home of Lord and Lady Clifford and it is a delight and privilege to be able to share the house's history and welcoming ambience.
