The PowderMills is a stunning 18th Century listed Country House Hotel nestling in beautiful parklands, woods and large lakes, privately owned by Douglas and Julie Cowpland.

The Hotel is tastefully furnished throughout with furniture and paintings in-keeping with the period of the property. From the Entrance Hall, where a log fire welcomes on long winter evenings, to the Bar, Conservatory, Library, Georgian Room, Drawing Room and the large Music Room where civil weddings are held, the ambience is that of a traditional Georgian Country House.

There is a range of 47 individually decorated bedrooms, junior suites and suites in-keeping with the style of the House, many with 4 posters.

The Orangery restaurant has a fine reputation for exceptional cuisine with 2 AA Rosettes.
