THE HERITAGE CENTRE, Roe Street, is situated in the centre of Macclesfield and provides a focus for community and cultural events in the town. This converted Sunday school is the venue for many performing arts and other events.

The building houses an Auditorium and other rooms which are available for hire for meetings, conferences, training and private functions. (See Menu option for more details)

The natural acoustics of the galleried hall attracts a diverse range of musical and other activities. Dominated by the refurbished Renn organ, the auditorium seats 400, with theatre style seating below, and bench seats in the balcony. Musical styles from Classical to Jazz and all shades between can be heard.

Full catering facilities are available for all events.

There is a ramp for wheelchair access in Roe Street. Toilet for persons with disabilities on the ground and first floors, and a lift provides access to the upper floors.
