We are 400 yards from the medieval city wall and in the Bishopthorpe Road area of York, a quiet place to park the car with our free permits and take a lovely stroll along the river into the city. Dalescroft is a town house built in 1908 for the managers of Rowntree's Chocolate Factory. A 10-minutes walk will take you to all the wonders of our beautiful city or to the racecourse.
