The county of Cheshire is located in the North West of England and is formed by the City and District Councils of Chester, Congleton, Crewe and Nantwich Ellesmere, Halton Macclesfield, Vale Royal and Warrington.

The bustling cities of Liverpool and Manchester lie to the North West and North East respectively, Derbyshire to the East, Shropshire and Staffordshore to the South and the Welsh counties of Flint and Wrexham to the West.

Cheshire is one of England’s most affluent counties and many of its residents commute from Cheshire to Liverpool, Manchester and its suburbs daily.

The county town of Chester with many Roman connections is brimming with history and character and a popular weekend getaway for many around England, Wales and beyond.
