Biggin Hall Country House Hotel online: information and bookings
Set at 1000 feet in the White Peak District, 17th century Grade II* listed Biggin Hall has been sympathetically restored, keeping its fine old character while giving house room to contemporary comforts. Stone arched mullioned windows, leaded lights, buildings in local stone, antique furniture and paintings and log fires give the Hall a wealth of charm.
Guest rooms are spacious and individually furnished with antiques. In addition to the Master Suite, there are six double / twin bedrooms in the main house, each with their own bathrooms en suite, plus a suite of two rooms sharing an adjoining bathroom. Other rooms are situated in the Lodge & Courtyard.
All rooms are en suite with colour T.V, tea making facilities, direct dial telephone and a silent fridge.

Dinner served at 7.00p.m. is one of the highlights of your stay, when the open fire, excellent food, and a good selection of wines, all combine to create a convivial atmosphere for an enjoyable meal. Many guests return year after year to sample the delights of our traditional home cooking. Much of the food is of local origin with the accent on free range wholefoods and natural flavours, together with a seasonal selection of vegetables.
Biggin Hall is ideally placed for those who enjoy walking or cycling in the Derbyshire Peak District.
The area has a contrasting mixture of dales, mountains and moorlands and the countryside around Biggin Hall offers some of the best walking in the Peak District, from easy riverside strolls to gruelling hikes.
Not far from Biggin Hall are the Tissington and High Peak Trails, disused former railway lines, which provide walkers, cyclists, horseriders and naturalists with fine scenic routes though the limestone countryside. Some of the best cycling routes in the Peak District go almost right past our front door.
Close to Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, and the timeless Market Towns of Ashbourne and Bakewell.
Half a mile off the A515 halfway between Ashbourne & Buxton.
