Hotel Restaurant - Food & Beverage
Eating at The Roxburghe whether for lunch or dinner is the ultimate culinary experience!
Using homegrown produce of game from the Estate, salmon, wild mushrooms and freshly picked herbs from the garden, renowned Roxburghe Chef, Keith Short is particular to ensure everything produced in his kitchen is fresh and home made.
As all dishes are fully and freshly prepared by Keith and his team, they are more than happy to offer alternatives to assist with any allergies and dietary requirements.
To compliment this standard of food is a fine choice of wines from the Duke's cellar and an extensive whisky selection for the after dinner "dram".
Weddings and Conferences
Being swept up in the excitement of getting married is special, as is being surrounded by family and friends.
Roxburghe Weddings are special, and the House Party style, which can be taken as exclusive use, is what will make your wedding unique.
Maximum guest numbers are 120 in the Main House or 160 in a marquee, set on the lawns within the gardens adjacent to the hotel.
Roxburghe Estates in which the hotel and golf course are situated, is a working country estate which provides guests to The Roxburghe with a wealth of activities to choose from.
As well as the championship golf course there is a wide selection of estate sports such as clay pigeon shooting offering competitions and tuition, shooting of pheasant, partridge and grouse and some of the best salmon fishing in Scotland. Plus the hotel has its own trout pond for fly fishing and tuition.
Archery, falconry, quad biking and mountain biking all make great use of the surrounds.
For more relaxing and sedate pursuits, there is croquet on the hotel front lawn, the hotel woodland walks and the Health and Beauty Suite offering a string of treatments using Decleor products made to truly spoil!
